Woburn House in Blackwell has been officially opened by Council Leader Councillor Jane Yates.
The building replaces the old Independent Living Scheme (ILS) facility which is set to be demolished. The new facility boasts 20 self-contained flats and sits alongside a mix of 23 houses and bungalows, some of which are still to be completed.
Tenants from the old ILS were moved from the old facility into their new home and are loving the spacious and modern living arrangements.

Council Leader Councillor Jane Yates thanked Dragonfly staff for completing the building project as she cut the ribbon and opened the new facility on Tuesday 29 July.
Councillor Yates said: “A huge thank you has to go out to Dragonfly and our housing team for delivering the first phase of Woburn. It is fantastic to see this building open after visiting several times during the building process.”

Director of ME Projects, Keane Haslam, added,
"Working with Dragonfly is like a breath of fresh air in what we all know can be a challenging industry.
They truly believe in the partnership route and working together to get a project delivered to the highest standards.
ME Projects look forward to continuing our relationship with the people at Dragonfly in whatever capacity that may be."
